Chase McCown
President
Chase McCown joined the Spectrum Aeromed team as President in 2022. A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, McCown holds master’s degrees in both Systems Engineering and National Security & Strategic Studies. He retired from the US Air Force in 2015 after his final assignment where he led maintenance operations on the Nation’s B-2 bomber fleet. McCown most recently was the Vice President of Program Management (FSI-Defense) at FlightSafety International where he oversaw the company’s defense portfolio of training and modification programs. As President at Spectrum Aeromed, his strategic leadership skills and extensive operational and field experience will support the company’s focus on continuous improvement, growth, and partnership within the air medical industry.
Matthew Christenson
VP Account Executive
Matthew Christenson is the Account Executive for the Western United States, Western Canada, Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He has been with Spectrum Aeromed since 2001, having held positions as office manager, production manager and project manager during that time. He is based at the headquarter office in Fargo, North Dakota.
Horst Heinicke
VP of International Sales
Thomas Redder
VP of International Sales
Thomas Redder is the VP for East, South and Southeast Asia and Europe. He is based in the German Sales Office, held an Air Transport Pilots License and has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Before joining Spectrum Aeromed in April 2012, he was Technical Director at an Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organization.
Ricky Reno
VP Account Executive
Ricky Reno is the VP for the Eastern United States as well as all U.S. Military and Government Initiatives. He joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2012. He has been in the Aviation Industry for over 33 years as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot, Flight Instructor, and Airframe & Powerplant Technician. He also retired from the US Army after 22 years where he served as an US Army Aviator and other roles. Ricky has been awarded with the prestigious Sikorsky Rescue Award for his role in the life saving efforts using a Sikorsky Aircraft.
Tammy Enright
SVP-Business Manager
Tammy Enright joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2008 is the SVP- Business Manager, overseeing marketing, accounting, human resources, IT and general administration. She was recognized in 2012 as one of the “40 Most Influential People Under the Age of 40” in North Dakota by the North Dakota Business Watch Magazine.
Justin Mahler
VP of Design and Certification
Justin Mahler joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2005. He is the VP of Design and Certification, and also serves as the company’s Designated Engineering Representative working with the Federal Aviation Administration. He serves as a liaison between the sales and engineering teams, customers, and certifying bodies. Justin was recognized in 2012 as one of the “40 Most Influential People Under the Age of 40” in North Dakota by the Prairie Business Magazine.
Jeff Edberg
VP of Operations
Edberg comes to Spectrum Aeromed with decades of experience both in and out of the cockpit. He graduated with a degree in flight technology and has spent the past 20 years working in aviation business development, project management, customer service and vendor relationships. Edberg has been a commercial pilot and flight instructor for over 30 years.
Holly Jorud
Director of Finance and Administration
Holly Jorud joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2020 as Controller. Jorud is a CPA with over 23 years of accounting experience in both public and corporate accounting. She served in public accounting under firms such as Ernst & Young and held financial management roles in the pharmaceutical and technology sector. Jorud has been involved in audit, tax, grant compliance, contract management, and technology functions. Jorud supports the Spectrum Aeromed team with financial leadership and direction that her diverse experience offers.
John Kostrzewski
Director of Engineering
John Kostrzewski joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2021 and is the Director of Engineering. John has over 17 years of experience with technology leaders like NASA and Cirrus Aircraft and has a very well-rounded background in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. John is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the engineering team.
