Summary:

This individual provides support to the Controller for the administrative and operational duties outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned

  • Maintaining shared email
  • Responding to email requests and inquiries
  • Processing incoming AP invoices
  • Researching AP issues and troubleshooting solutions
  • Calculating and managing accruals and prepaids
  • Preparing payments and tracking to vendor accounts
  • Managing vendor accounts
  • Filing and organizing electronic files
  • Asset management
  • Assembling outgoing mail
  • Other office-related duties as requested by the team

Education and/or Experience:

  •  AS or BS degree in Accounting
  • Understanding of Accounting terms and the proper coding of transactions
  • Familiarity with electronic accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Experience with Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word preferred)
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and related folder structures
  • Experience with cloud-based storage applications (Box and SharePoint preferred)
  • Experience with meeting software

Job Status: Full-time

Summary:

An engineer at Spectrum Aeromed is responsible for design, drafting, and structural analysis of the manufactured products. Engineers also write the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned

  • Three-dimensional modeling and drafting of all parts and assemblies to be manufactured by our company.
  • Calculating and writing stress analysis reports for all equipment to be STC approved.
  • Creating assembly instructions within the equipment drawings and assisting shop personnel in manufacturing.
  • Writing reports for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in our STC approval process.
  • Working with the entire engineering team on each project, coordinating and communicating throughout the project life cycle.
  • Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed management.
  • Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards.

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering.
  • CAD software proficiency, specifically 3D modeling and drafting in Autodesk Inventor and Cadkey.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community

Technical Writer
Job Status: Full-time

Summary:

The Technical Writer will be a highly organized, process driven self-starter. They will need excellent writing skills with the ability to understand industry regulations. An understanding of draft documents preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned

  • Develop technical documents, i.e. ICA’s, FMS’s, Engineering reports
  • Manage documentation for Domestic and International STC approvals.
  • Create and maintain STC Document Packages.
  • Liaison between Spectrum Aeromed and FAA, MIDO, EASA, Foreign Focal.
  • Maintain required documentation for product shipments.
  • Track, file and communicate ECO’s, NIECO’s and 8110 Forms.
  • Write Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), partnering with FAA.
  • Track approved parts and assemblies in the STC process.
  • File assembly approvals
  • Prepare PMA Applications which include- writing a PMA supplement draft, writing PMA request, and updating PMA files.
  • Create Drawing Lists (DL) for newly created assemblies, update revised drawing lists for assembly.
  • Generate parts books for each product within a customized Spectrum Aeromed order.
  • Maintain STC data for Website
  • Collaborate with engineering team, production, and customers for required drawings and documents.
  • Write Master Drawing Lists (MDL’s) for Installations.

Summary:

The Production and Quality Generalist will assist with receiving and inspecting piece parts, assemblies and completed parts used in the assembly of FAA approved air ambulance equipment within an AS9100 Quality Management System verifying parts and assemblies are in conformity with approved design drawings. This individual will need excellent communication skills with the ability to understand industry regulations, purchase orders and engineering drawings.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Interpret Spectrum Aeromed Engineers’ assembly drawings

  •  Analyze Purchase Orders

  • Generate Work Orders, Engineer Drawing requests and Travelers for production

  • Receive and inspect parts through Quality Assurance and record the information in MRP software

  • Inspect, identify, and tag all parts and components via Drawing Tree and Drawing Lists

  • Assist in the maintenance of the calibration programs for all inspection tools

  • Identify conforming and non-conforming piece parts and assemblies

  • Use various pieces of measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)

  • Keep work area clean and safe

  • Maintain strong collaborative partnerships with Production and Engineering

  • Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed management

  • Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards

  • Submit Continuous Improvement Ideas about products and processes

  • Maintain a high level of quality in your day to day work

  • Participate in companywide committees such as Safety, Wellness and Continuous Improvement

  • Understand and Support the Spectrum Aeromed Core Values and Quality Policy
