Internal Compliance Auditor

Education and/or experience:

High school diploma; or GED
Knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of aerospace and/or quality standards and internal audit processes
Specialized AS9100 training will be provided by Spectrum Aeromed (Travel may be required)

Language skills:

Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively
Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, procedures, safety rules, and equipment instructions

Summary:

The Internal Compliance Auditor performs duties related to the continued improvement of Spectrum Aeromed in the areas of document control, internal auditing and knowledgeable contact for compliance. He/She will represent management during the yearly certification audits and customer management audits/surveys.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plan, organize and control all activities required to control the documents, such as standard operating procedures, work instructions and forms
  • Must be able to manage to Spectrum Aeromed’s internal auditor training program.
  • Perform internal audits, documenting and communicating findings to the appropriate management and/or supervisory personnel.
  • Follow-up on corrective, preventive and continuous improvement actions.
  • Show working knowledge of AS9100, ISO, or similar quality management system as demonstrated in the document control and internal auditing duties.
  • Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed.
  • Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards.

Summary:

The assembler is responsible for preparation, sub-assembly and assembly of electrical and mechanical parts. This person is able to work without direct supervision.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Select and use the proper hand and power tools for the assembly of mechanical parts
  • On job training available for proper soldering and riveting techniques
  • Identify conforming and non-conforming piece parts and assemblies
  • Use various pieces of measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Assist with inventory of piece parts and/or assemblies
  • Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed management
  • Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards
  • Participate in Engineering and R&D projects.
