Infinity 5000X

After 30 years of experience engineering equipment to suit all customers’ needs, the new Infinity 5000X was designed with the same dedication and high-level insight the air medical industry has come to expect from Spectrum Aeromed.

The new 5000X system was designed with crew needs in mind and consists of one common base with an interlocking stretcher. This solution offers a smaller footprint with fewer parts, creating lighter-weight equipment for easier installation. By integrating this new footprint into the existing aircraft cabin, the 5000X also offers maintenance crews a quicker transition time.

With a focus on improved patient and installer experiences, Spectrum Aeromed designed the module with more clearance, easier access for maintenance, and improved aesthetics.

Helping our heroes

Spectrum Aeromed’s 30 years of experience building high-quality air medical equipment uniquely positions the company to comprehensively meet the needs of our customers. The Infinity 5000X module will revolutionize the air medical industry thanks to Spectrum Aeromed’s partnership with air medical teams and installers throughout the development stage.

Key features of the new equipment include a newly designed stretcher bridge that allows unobstructed access when caring for patients and when transferring the patient onto and off the stretcher.  All controls and gauges are centrally located on the base unit, with dual USB ports and three individual universal electrical outlets.  These innovations will aid in keeping this new equipment revolutionary in the air medical equipment industry.

“As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary this year, we are very excited to introduce our new equipment model and features to the air ambulance community,” said Matthew Christenson, VP Account Executive for Spectrum Aeromed.

Spectrum Aeromed has recently submitted an amended Pilatus PC-12 STC for the new equipment to the FAA.  In the coming months, the company will be incorporating the 5000X into both its existing and new STCs.

The Infinity 5000X will be showcased by Spectrum Aeromed at its NBAA booth #459 from October 12th-14th and at its AMTC booth #1115 from October 31st – November 2nd.
