Life Link III will add an additional Leonardo AW119Kx aircraft to their existing fleet of helicopters as well as a Leonardo AW109 Trekker. Spectrum Aeromed will outfit the aircraft interiors with the latest in aviation and clinical advancements, including state-of-the-art mobile medical equipment essential to the in-flight care of all types of patients, including ECMO and neonates transfers. When complete, Life Link III crew of both aircraft will be able to convert the interior medbay from a standard stretcher set-up to a NICU isolette quickly and seamlessly, in addition to many other configurations.

Spectrum Aeromed anticipates the Leonardo AW109S Trekker interior installation will be completed in March 2021, while the Leonardo A119Kx is expected to be completed in November 2021.
