Summary:
Spectrum Aeromed is seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong aviation background to support the design, analysis, and certification of aircraft medical solutions. This role is responsible for developing detailed 3D models and drawings, performing structural stress analysis, and preparing technical documentation to support Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approvals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned
- Three-dimensional modeling and drafting of all parts and assemblies to be manufactured by our company.
- Calculating and writing stress analysis reports for all equipment to be STC approved
- Creating assembly instructions within the equipment drawings and assisting shop personnel in manufacturing
- Writing reports for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in our STC approval process
- Working with the entire engineering team on each project, coordinating and communicating throughout the project life cycle
- Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed management.
- Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards.
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience
- CAD software proficiency, specifically 3D modeling and drafting in Autodesk Inventor and Cadkey
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Experience working with aircraft systems, aviation products, or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and aerospace technologies.
- Familiarity with aviation certification and regulatory processes.

Project Manager
Job Status: Full-time
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong aviation background to lead and deliver complex projects. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of project execution, including project-level oversight of FAA and EASA regulations, budget constraints, and operational requirements while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. The Project Manager will play a key role in day-to-day coordination across engineering, production, and support functions valuing teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary liaison for all assigned projects, coordinating internal teams and customer needs.
- Lead day-to-day project execution, focusing on scope definition, schedule adherence, and cost control.
- Provide oversight of FAA and EASA regulations, company policies, and aviation safety standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and track engineering and production activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure scope is clearly defined and executable. Manage change orders including cost and schedule impacts.
- Organize and lead project review meetings, status updates, and internal briefings.
- Track project costs and ensure performance remains within approved budgets.
- Monitor milestones and delivery commitments, driving corrective actions as needed.
- Support customer communication throughout execution, including schedule updates and changes.
- Promote a LEAN, continuous improvement mindset related to safety, efficiency and operational performance within project teams.
- Support project closeout activities, including documentation and lessons learned.
- Support the sales team during early project evaluation activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
- 3+ years of professional project management experience in aviation, product engineering, or similar environment.
- Working knowledge of project scheduling and cost tracking tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience managing projects in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Copilot)
Preferred:
- Experience working directly with customers during project execution.
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Working knowledge or FAA and EASA regulations, SMS, and aviation compliance requirements
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles
