Spectrum Aeromed announced the addition of three new engineers to their team this week as part of the companies’ growth and expansion.
Jerrick Hedges will be responsible for design, drafting, and structural analysis of manufactured products. He will also write the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval reports. Hedges is a 2014 graduate of North Dakota State University (NDSU) with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and interned for Spectrum from April 2013 until graduation.
Engineer Craig Hedstrom is also a 2014 graduate of NDSU with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Hedstrom most recently worked for Douglas Machine, Inc. in Alexandria, Minn., as a mechanical engineering intern.
Ryan Rensink has joined the company in a newly created position as quality engineer. This new position acts as the liaison between Engineering and Production ensuring that design drawings used to produce manufacturing documents are current, accurate and maintained properly. Rensink is also a former intern of Spectrum Aeromed and 2013 graduate of NDSU with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
“We are proud to welcome three recent alumni from NDSU to the staff,” said Spectrum Aeromed Chief Operating Officer and NDSU alumnus Chad Kost. “Hedges and Rensink demonstrated great potential during their internship and we are honored to be able to offer them permanent positions. Hedstrom has a strong background in mechanical engineering and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the team,” said Kost.
