Job Status: Full-time

Summary:

An assembler is responsible for preparation, sub-assembly and assembly of electrical and mechanical parts to be used in the assembly of FAA approved air ambulance equipment within an AS9100 Quality
Management System. This person is able to work without direct supervision.

Competency:

Competency will be assessed by the department manager at the end of the probationary period utilizing essential duties and responsibilities specific to their job description. Employee competency will be indicated on the employee evaluation form.

If competency in essential duties and responsibilities is not met, the department manager will document and set an appropriate probationary period for re-evaluation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Interpret Spectrum Aeromed Engineers’ assembly drawings.
  • Select and use the proper hand and power tools for the assembly of mechanical parts.
  • Follow proper soldering and riveting techniques.
  • Identify conforming and non-conforming piece parts and assemblies.
  • Use various pieces of measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Support and comply with the professionalism standards established by Spectrum Aeromed management.
  • Support and comply with the safety requirements and standards.
  • Submit Continuous Improvement Ideas about products and processes.
  • Maintain a high level of quality in your day to day work.
  • Participate in companywide committees such as Safety, Wellness and Continuous Improvement.
  • Understand and Support the Spectrum Aeromed Core Values and Quality Policy.

Pre-Employment Requirement:

Employee must be interviewed, pass a drug-free screening test, agree/sign a work week schedule, and agree/sign a Spectrum Aeromed Expectations Requirements. Employees may be required to pass a basic math exam and/or pass a written grammar exam.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma; or GED
  • Basic knowledge of assembly, soldering and riveting processes is a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, procedures, safety rules, and equipment
    instructions.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, division, fractions, and decimals.

Now Hiring: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Status: Full-time

Summary:

This individual provides support to the Director of Finance and Administration for the administrative and operational duties outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintaining shared email
  • Responding to email requests and inquiries
  • Processing incoming AP invoices
  • Researching AP issues and troubleshooting solutions
  • Calculating and managing accruals and prepaids
  • Preparing payments and tracking to vendor accounts
  • Managing vendor accounts
  • Filing and organizing electronic files
  • Asset management
  • Assembling outgoing mail
  • Other office related duties as requested by the team

Qualifications:

  • AS or BS degree in accounting or high school diploma 3-5yrs experience in accounts payable.
  • Understanding of Accounting terms and the proper coding of transactions
  • Familiarity with electronic accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Experience with Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word preferred)
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and related folder structures
  • Experience with cloud-based storage applications (Box and SharePoint preferred)
  • Experience with meeting software.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as office correspondence and procedures
  • Must have the ability to handle internal and external communications (written and verbal in English) in a professional manner

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying,
    division, fractions, and decimals
  • General accounting knowledge required
