(FARGO, ND. —April 6, 2015) Spectrum Aeromed announced this week that it will begin a tour in Asia and will showcase their medical interior in a new Pilatus PC-12 NG.  The aircraft with the medical interior will be viewable in the Chalet Display area in the static displays at Asian Business Aviation Convention & Expo (ABACE) in Shanghai, China from April 14-16, 2015.

“The opportunity to feature our product at ABACE is a great opportunity to show the Asian market what our products are capable of,” said Spectrum Aeromed Chief Operating Officer Chad Kost. “We look forward to showcasing our product throughout Asia.

Spectrum Aeromed also learned that the company was awarded China’s Air Ambulance (Interior) Provider of the Year.  Last year Account Representative Thomas Redder presented an overview to the Air Medical industry in Asia at a convention in 2014 in Shanghai.  He discussed the need for air ambulances, how equipment can be installed and an overview of air ambulance operations.

“Winning the award is an honor,” said Redder. “At Spectrum Aeromed, we take great care in not only showcasing our medical interiors around the world, but also taking time to educate emerging markets on how quickly and easily air ambulance programs can begin operations. This award not only is a reflection on our commitment to serving the needs of the people in Asia, but also reiterates our mission to help save lives around the world.”

The Pilatus aircraft is only one in a wide array of aircraft that Spectrum Aeromed equipment is capable of being installed in.

“Our products can be easily installed in both rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft and we know that is vital to many emerging markets seeking to add air ambulances.  We can work with heads of state, private owners and government agencies to equip their aircraft with the necessary medical interiors for air ambulances.  We look forward to meeting with customers throughout Asia,” said Kost.
